Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic Kit Review

Peter Thomas Roth is a clinical skincare brand that has products for men and women of all ages. I’ve heard a lot about this brand recently in the beauty community and was very eager to try some of their products out. This is a 5 piece mask kit, containing masks with all different properties and purposes.

The Blue Marine Algae Intense Hydrating Mask is a gel formulated mask thats main purpose is to soothe and nourish skin while providing hydration. This mask has gotten mixed reviews, I’ve come to learn after some research. Some people have found it to be very hydrating, while others were left disappointed seeing no hydrating effects from the mask. I personally am not all that impressed with this mask. I tend to have pretty dry skin, so I expect a mask to provide my skin with ample hydration if it markets to do that, but this product didn’t leave my skin feeling any much more hydrated than it was before. For a mask at this price, I believe that you could find a much better alternative.

The Cucumber Gel Mask is a gel formulated mask that is detoxifying and hydrating. It’s great to use on sunburns and irritated skin. This product feels very soothing and hydrating to the skin. I haven’t had the chance to use this mask on a sunburn yet, but I imagine that it would be a very good remedy to soothe the sunburn.

This 24K Gold Mask is supposed to be an anti- aging treatment that lifts and firms the skin while adding a bright, youthful appearance. After using this mask I was a bit disappointed. The mask didn’t make my skin feel firmed at all. Most masks with these properties feel very tight on the face and you can tell that it’s tightening and firming your skin, but this mask didn’t feel tight at all on the face. It did make my skin look very glowy and fresh though. So if you’re looking for a mask that will help will firming and wrinkles I wouldn’t recommend this mask, but if you want a mask that will make you look re-engerized and fresh this mask will do just that.

The Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask is my favorite of all the masks in this set. This mask is formulated to draw out dirt and oil from the face while adding hydration. This mud is harvested from the Irish countryside and added with hijiki seaweed, volcanic ash, and activated charcoal. It makes my skin feel very clean and fresh after using it and not dry, which is a big bonus for someone with typically dry skin.

The last mask is the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask which is a chemical and enzymatic exfoliating treatment. It helps to smooth out skin and give a youthful appearance. When applied this mask can have a tingling sensation, but it’s not overwhelming to the point that you feel like you need to take it off, it just feels like the mask is working. I also really like this mask, it makes my skin look fresh and new after using it. I’ve also tried using this on my lips and it has a bit of a plumping effect while making them feel soft and rejuvenated.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post and as always feel free to comment!
